My letter published in Trout Fisherman Magazine

My letter was posted in the trout fisherman magazine this month in response to a letter saying it was out of order to promote the tying of chamois leather flies. I am aware that there are many in the fly fishing fraternity that are reluctant to see developments in the sport and are happy to carry on in their merry way. I don't mind them doing this but what I am against is them actually saying it is out of order copying one item in a trout's diet rather than another. The sport has elitist anglers amongst the fold - e.g those that only cast dry flies to fish that are rising but youngsters like me - ahem! are keen to do away with this outdated snobbery!!!
