End of season

Well another coarse fishing year ended last week. I didn't get to do as much pike fishing as I expected at the end of the season and reluctantly had to jettison several quality deadbaits to free up space in the freezer. My river season starts again though on the 25 th March for trout on my club water on the Nidd so I don't have to wait too long. I have had great success on my club trout Stillwater recently. I can't wait now for april and may to come along and to try some north country spiders such as snipe and purple and waterhen bloa. I love wading into the middle of the river and then casting my fly towards the willows that usually line both banks. Hope to show some photos of good river trout in the future.
